Milder than average conditions are expected across much of eastern Queensland tomorrow, turning cooler inland. The coast will mostly experience settled weather with only a few showers along the north-east tropical coast.
Showers and storms will move in from the west, linked to a low-pressure trough. These will affect the far north-west, central, and southern inland areas.
Severe storms could develop in parts of the southern Darling Downs and Granite Belt, with moderate rainfall possible in southern inland regions and the far north-west.
These storms might extend to the south-east coast late tomorrow evening or during the overnight period into Sunday morning.
Brisbane’s forecast includes a couple of showers and a maximum temperature of 31°C.
A cold front will pass through central and eastern New South Wales, bringing a strong southerly wind change. Most eastern areas will see widespread showers and thunderstorms, especially along the north-east and east central coast.
