The Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) Undertaking announced significant updates to its bus network starting from November 1. The initiative introduces new bus routes, restructures existing services, and upgrades several lines to air-conditioned standards to enhance passenger comfort and operational efficiency.
One of the newly introduced services, route A-101, will link the World Trade Center with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT). The route passes through major areas such as G D Somani Road, President Hotel, Colaba, Hutatma Rajguru Chowk, and Madame Cama Road. It operates six days a week, from Monday to Saturday.
The return route will cover Hutatma Chowk, Veer Nariman Road, and Churchgate, among other important points, offering improved transport links in south Mumbai.
Several existing routes have been reorganised:
