Proposition 50, a statewide Congressional redistricting measure, was approved in California with just under 64% of voters saying yes and slightly over 36% saying no.
Governor Gavin Newsom, who pushed the measure, proposed it to boost Democratic Congressional seats in response to redistricting actions in Texas to increase Republican seats.
In Tuolumne County, just over 60% voted no, and a little under 40% said yes. In Calaveras County, over 62% said no, and just under 38% said yes.
The state map shows that it was supported by more Democratic leaning coastal communities and opposed in the more conservative inland areas.
