Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Finance is testing a digital platform that employs AI and big data to assist entrepreneurs in locating the most lucrative places to sell their products. This initiative was announced by Deputy Finance Minister Aset Turysov during a recent briefing.
The new AI-powered tool is embedded within the Ministry’s “Digital Map of Public Finances.” It leverages electronic invoice data, machine learning algorithms, and commercial activity analysis to create real-time maps highlighting high-demand areas. The focus is on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
“The Digital Map includes an AI analyst that processes receipts to identify where and which goods are in highest demand. We are currently testing this feature and plan to make it accessible through digital platforms, such as personal taxpayer accounts,” Turysov said. “If a business owner is unsure where to sell their products, the system will suggest the most advantageous locations.”
This platform aims not only to enhance private sector productivity but also to improve the efficiency of government support programs. The AI tool will help allocate subsidies and preferential loans by pinpointing promising business areas.
Summary: Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Finance introduces an AI-powered platform to help businesses identify profitable sales locations, enhancing both private sector efficiency and targeted state support.
