Remembrance Day and Family Events in Haringey Libraries
Young children and their families are invited to commemorate Remembrance Day through interactive and creative activities offered across several Haringey libraries on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
Poppy Craft Sessions
- Hornsey Library: 3:30pm–4:30pm
- Marcus Garvey Library: 3:30pm–4:30pm
- Muswell Hill Library: 3:45pm–4:45pm
This crafting opportunity is designed for children aged three and above. After finishing their poppy creations, participants can attach them to Remembrance Day boards at Hornsey Library or Marcus Garvey Library.

- Stroud Green and Harringay Library: Monday, November 17, 2025, 3:30pm–4:30pm (suitable for ages 5+)

- Marcus Garvey Library: Tuesdays (3:30pm–5pm), boards available on request; under 16s must be supervised
- St Ann’s Library: Mondays (4pm–5pm, term time only); max 12 children on a first come, first served basis, ages 7–16
