Injured Cyclist Rescued by Air Ambulance Near Nantwich

A cyclist was rescued by air ambulance near Nantwich after a fall in the Norbury area, near Wrenbury, at around midday on November 4th.

The incident occurred in wet and windy conditions, but it is believed the cyclist's injuries are not life-threatening.

The Air Ambulance Service came to the rescue of an injured cyclist in rural Nantwich today. At 11:59hrs this morning our officers deployed to Norbury following the report of an injured cyclist. No other road users were involved and early indications are that the cyclist's injuries are not life threatening. Thanks to the local residents who came to their aid and the fantastic Air Ambulance who were able to assist despite challenging weather conditions.

A Nantwich Police spokesperson reported the incident and thanked the local residents and the Air Ambulance Service for their assistance.
