A group of young cyclists from Nantwich have completed a 3,184km fundraising ride from England to Asia in 26 days, raising over £5,700 for charity.
James Redwood, Will Rowlands, Kieron Lawton, and Ewan Davies set off from Buckingham Palace, accompanied by support van driver Jude Metz, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and Alzheimer's Society.
Despite facing numerous setbacks, including the towing of their support van and the support driver being denied entry to the Turkish border, the group persevered, battling through challenging conditions on the final day, including 30-degree heat, 30mph headwinds, and 1800m elevation.
They had to cycle into the night around mountainous, windy country roads, large potholes, and wild rabid dogs.
The group also endured a four-day period without food, kit, or camping gear, but ultimately completed their journey, crossing the finish line at the Blue Mosque in Istanbul.
