The Ghana Immigration Service has provided a detailed account of a shooting incident involving two of its personnel in the Tempani District, resulting in one death.

In a statement dated November 3, 2025, Deputy Commissioner of Immigration Maud Anima Quainoo confirmed the attack and narrated the circumstances. The victims, Assistant Immigration Control Officer I (AICO I) Philip Lartey and AICO I Cosmos Dakurah, were shot by unknown assailants while returning from duty on a motorbike.
