Everybody Scream is a collaboration with Idles guitarist Mark Bowen, and it both re-states what made Florence Welch beguiling and takes a gentle step forward.
sometimes my body seems so alien to me, she sings on Kraken, but tracks like You Can Have It All and the title track could have fit her debut album Lungs.
More encouragingly, songs like One Of The Greats, Witch Dance, and Buckle show an artist broadening her horizons.
