Recent Arrests in Louvre Heist
French police have made five additional arrests in connection to the Louvre heist, where €88m worth of crown jewels were stolen.
The arrests, announced by Paris prosecutor Laure Beccuau, come after two men were charged with gang theft and criminal association.
The jewels have not yet been found.
- Three suspects have partially admitted their participation in the theft.
- Their DNA was found on tools and a motorbike believed to have been used in the escape.
- A fourth suspect is still being searched for.
