Hayley Williams released “Showbiz,” a surprise song from her third solo album Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party, which officially came out on vinyl today. This track was added after the original 17-song collection Williams launched in summer through her label Post Atlantic, with distribution by Secretly Distribution.
Williams co-wrote “Showbiz” with producer and collaborator Daniel James, who contributed to the entire album. The song narrates a romantic encounter amid the fog and haze of a club, with Williams singing:
“I wanna do it again / I wanna dance in the strobe lights / I wanna choke on the smoke / And feel your eyes on me.”
She then questions whether the experience held the same meaning for the other person.

Last night, record stores worldwide hosted “Ego Nite” events to honor the physical release of the album. These celebrations included playing records, exclusive merchandise, and availability of physical copies of Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party.
Other surprise tracks added to the album include “Good Ol Days” and “Parachute.”
