As the Stranger Things saga approaches its finale, the cast embarked on the season five press tour starting at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatre in Los Angeles. Finn Wolfhard, who portrays Mike Wheeler, stood out with his stylish choice for the premiere.
The 22-year-old wore a sharply tailored, skinny-fit black McQueen suit paired with a silky shirt. The suit featured a distinctive patchwork design in scarlet, silver, and black, appearing as if it was being slowly consumed from within the fabric.
This unusual, worn look brought to mind the Upside Down — the eerie, fiery alternate dimension explored by the Stranger Things characters over multiple seasons.
Wolfhard’s stylist, Warren Baker, who also styles Andrew Garfield and works with Saint Laurent campaigns, explained the intentional connection. Speaking to Esquire, he said,
“For the LA premiere we really wanted to play into the theme and colours of the show.”
