'Avengers' Star Jeremy Renner Faces New Allegations from Chinese Filmmaker

Actor Jeremy Renner is facing new accusations connected to alleged misconduct. On Friday, November 7, Chinese filmmaker Yi Zhou told the Daily Mail that the Avengers star threatened to "call ICE" after she began dating him last month.

Zhou, a 37-year-old director, claimed that Renner sent her unwanted and disturbing photos of himself without consent. Their communication reportedly started through Instagram and WhatsApp direct messages in June 2025.

"I was discussing documentary logistics, then he drank a bottle of wine alone and got angrier and angrier, yelling for two hours," Zhou said.

"I had to lock myself in a room to be safe, praying he would not come in at night, as he was really angry. I did not say a word; I was terrified for my life."

According to Zhou’s public Instagram posts, Renner allegedly threatened to contact U.S. immigration authorities after she confronted him about his actions.

"When I called him out privately about his past behavior and asked him to respect me as a woman and as a filmmaker, he threatened to call immigration/ICE on me. It deeply shocked and frightened me," she wrote.
