Notre Dame Hosts AC/DC Concert
The University of Notre Dame announced on Monday, November 3, that AC/DC will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m., with a limit of four tickets per person and credit card.
About AC/DC
Brothers Malcolm and Angus Young formed AC/DC in Sydney, Australia, in 1973. The band rose to international fame with their unique blend of blues-rock and hard rock, producing iconic albums such as:
- Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap (1976)
- Highway to Hell (1979)
- Back in Black (1980)
- For Those About to Rock (We Salute You) (1981)
Beyond the title tracks of these albums, other notable AC/DC hits include "You Shook Me All Night Long," "Who Made Who," "Hells Bells," and "Thunderstruck."
Opening Act: The Pretty Reckless
The concert will open with The Pretty Reckless, a hard rock band fronted by Taylor Momsen, known for her role in "Gossip Girl." The band has achieved eight No. 1 songs on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, including their latest hit "For I Am Death" from November.
The band previously hit No. 1 with three consecutive singles: "Death by Rock and Roll," "And So It Went," and "Only Love Can Save Me Now," all from the 2021 album Death by Rock and Roll.
