Rebecca Judd appeared “stunning” at the 2025 Howden Victoria Derby Day held at Flemington on Saturday, dressed in a custom J’Aton off-the-shoulder lace dress. However, her day at the races did not go perfectly as planned.
Judd reportedly experienced difficulties at the entrance, unable to scan her digital ticket, which caused a delay in the queue. One outlet described this as an “awkward mishap.”
Once inside, the challenges continued. While posing for photos, the 42-year-old, a mum of four, was inevitably shown wearing a Crown marquee wristband, which impacted the aesthetics of the images.
“They think the talent are divas but how can you do media shots with these awful things on?” said a PR insider, describing the security wristbands as making it “impossible” to get the perfect shot.
Regardless of the wristband issue, Judd’s dress was widely praised. Fans admired her look, with comments like “Are you kidding me?” and descriptions such as “incredible” and “divine.”
Carrie Bickmore, who attended the Derby Day the year before, had faced significant backlash, yet this did not deter her from attending again this year.
