Kylie debuted the single on The Scott Mills Show on Radio 2 and shared insights about its unique recording process. Interestingly, the festive sessions took place during the summer, in June, amid her Tension tour break.
“Because I was on the road, we didn’t get to go so Christmassy. I had… You know I think it was from a CBeebies story, Christmas story, I did and they gave me a… like a Christmas stocking I think. I thought, I have got to take something Christmassy and I think that’s it. That’s the one thing that you may see… If there is any visuals of the recording that’s the… That’s it. We didn’t get to do fairy lights. We didn’t get to do paper chains. But in spirit we were very Christmassy.”
