Fengate Breaks Ground on New Seniors’ Community in Oakville
Representatives from LiUNA, Fengate, Seasons Retirement Communities, Hi-Rise Group, SG Constructors, and Mayor Rob Burton of Oakville gathered to mark the start of construction at 1105 McCraney, a new seniors’ community in Oakville.
Project Overview
1105 McCraney is a development by the LiUNA Pension Fund of Central and Eastern Canada (LPFCEC), in collaboration with Fengate, Seasons Retirement Communities, and The Hi-Rise Group. This project marks Seasons’ first development in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), expanding their portfolio which already includes 15 retirement residences in Ontario, eight in Alberta, and two in British Columbia, with more underway.
Community Features
- The building will be six storeys tall with 221 residential units.
- It will offer Independent Supportive Living (ISL) and Memory Care (MC) suites.
- The design supports a full continuum of care within the same residence, promoting an “aging-in-place” approach.
