Global audio brand QCY recently debuted in India with a lineup of TWS earbuds, Bluetooth speakers, and over-ear headphones. Among them, the QCY H3 Pro Over-Ear Headphones stand out with features like 50dB Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), LDAC codec support, and up to 55 hours of battery life.
After testing the H3 Pro for a few weeks, I can share insights into its performance and design to help determine whether it’s worth the price.
The QCY H3 Pro sports a simple and clean design that looks more premium than its budget price might suggest. The build uses mainly plastic, but it feels sturdy and well-crafted rather than cheap. Weighing around 231 grams, these headphones are light and comfortable for extended listening sessions.
The earcups come with deep, soft padding, and the adjustable headband provides a secure yet smooth fit. The foldable design makes it easy to carry, though a dedicated case might not be included in the box. Overall, comfort remains one of the strong points of these headphones.
On the right earcup, there’s a power button that doubles as a play/pause function. It needs to be pressed for about two seconds to turn the headset on or off, with a white LED light next to it indicating its status. Volume controls are located nearby for easy access.
These elements make the H3 Pro versatile for both wired and wireless audio, enhancing convenience for various use cases.
“Since these cover your ears, you don’t feel like the headphones are pressing on them, even during long listening hours.”
This aspect highlights their ergonomic design and focus on comfort for continuous use.
The QCY H3 Pro offers strong ANC performance, LDAC support, and long battery life in a lightweight, comfortable package. For a budget-friendly headset, it strikes a balance between performance and affordability.
Author’s summary: QCY’s H3 Pro provides impressive sound quality, solid ANC, and lasting comfort, making it a smart choice for affordable over-ear listening.
