SPLOST Votes in Northeast Georgia
Most counties in Northeast Georgia had some form of Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax votes during the municipal elections Tuesday night, and nearly all were passed by voters.
- SPLOST votes passed in Hall, Forsyth, Habersham, White, Banks and Stephens counties.
- Votes were also trending yes to SPLOST votes in Gwinnett and Jackson counties as of 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night.
- Floating Local Option Sales Tax votes passed in Banks and White counties.
- A Transportation SPLOST passed in Rabun County.
The only such vote to not succeed Tuesday night was a FLOST vote in Union County, which voters rejected by a 55.85% to 44.15% margin.
