The BBC has confirmed the return of "Peaky Blinders" for two new series, to be produced for the BBC in the UK and for Netflix internationally.
The new chapter, from original creator Steven Knight, will advance the saga into a new era, set in Britain in 1953.
The story will follow a new generation of the Shelby family as they navigate a city transformed, with Birmingham undergoing massive reconstruction after the World War II blitz, building a new future from "concrete and steel."
