Gardaí in Donegal are urging the public not to use Facebook or other social media platforms to report potential crimes.
We continue to receive reports in relation to various types of incidents via Facebook Messenger. We do not accept reports via Facebook and the messages are not monitored on a 24/7 basis.
Instead, the public is advised to contact the Gardaí directly through official channels for immediate response or investigation.
