Butler Teen Dies After Being Struck by Train
A 19-year-old teen from Butler was killed after being struck by a train in DeKalb County on Saturday.
According to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, the incident occurred around 9 a.m. on the railroad tracks in the 600 block of East Main Street in Butler.
When authorities arrived, they found a man, identified as Ethan Fike, who had been struck by a passing Norfolk Southern train. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
