Sumter County Sets Millage Rate
The Sumter County Board of Commissioners set the millage rate on October 29.
Finance Director Lomenzo Reddick stated that the previous year's millage rate was 13.15 mills. The net digest showed growth, and suggested a roll back of 0.46%.
Based on that suggested rollback, the recommendation was to rollback to 13.09 mills.
