Golf legend Tiger Woods announced he recently underwent surgery to replace a collapsed disk in his back, marking his seventh back operation in 11 years.
The 49-year-old golf legend announced that he underwent back surgery to have a disk replaced in his back. He said the surgery went successful and he is recovering.
"After experiencing pain and lack of mobility in my back, I consulted with Doctors and Surgeons to have tests taken,"
Woods said in a statement, adding that the scans determined he had a collapsed disc in L4/5, disc fragments and a compromised spinal canal.
Golf fans will have to wait a little longer to see Tiger Woods return to competitive play as he faces another health setback.
