Kiran Marsh (SFS ’28) recalled a birthday celebration in Village A, where a residential assistant (RA) investigated a noise complaint. Marsh said, "This is pizza and brownies at nine o’clock on a Thursday. We’re playing some music— it’s pretty loud, but it’s nothing crazy. It’s 15 of us just watching baseball."

“It feels like they’re just anti-fun for no reason,”

said Marsh, who has received two noise citations. Georgetown University amended the Code of Student Conduct, instructing RAs and community directors to submit incident reports for each violation, potentially resulting in formal citations.
