Tamara Stepanyan Leads Masterclass at Armenian Film Society

On October 25, director and producer Tamara Stepanyan led a masterclass at the Armenian Film Society (AFS), sharing her creative journey and filmmaking process.

Stepanyan, born in Yerevan and raised in Lebanon, studied film at the American University of Beirut. She began making documentaries in 2010, including "The Ganants Gyughe" (Village of Women) in 2019.

Her feature documentary, "My Armenian Phantoms," premiered at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival, and is a poetic dialogue with her actor-father and Soviet Armenian cinema.
