Georgian College Awards Prestigious Schulich Builders Scholarships
Georgian College is celebrating its second cohort of 10 students who have been awarded the prestigious Schulich Builders Scholarships for Skilled Trades.
The scholarships, valued at up to $40,000, support students pursuing a diploma or certificate program in a skilled trade. Out of over 380,000 potential candidates across Canada, 1,000 students were nominated, and 120 received the award in 2025.
The program serves as a catalyst to help amplify the lucrative and in-demand job opportunities that exist across Canada.

The Schulich Builders Scholarships were launched in February 2023 by The Schulich Foundation to support hard-working students pursuing a career in a skilled trade.
