Yukon Elections: Voter Turnout Reaches 22.5%

Voter turnout for the Yukon elections has reached 22.5% after the closure of advanced polls, according to Elections Yukon.

A total of 8,060 eligible electors have cast their votes out of 35,764 registered voters, as reported by David Rozsa, the training and communications coordinator for the territorial elections office.

There are 61 candidates running for member of the legislative assembly (MLA) across 21 districts, including 1 independent candidate, 18 Yukon Liberal Party candidates, 21 Yukon NDP candidates, and 21 Yukon Party candidates.
