Teen in Critical Condition After Shooting in Robeson County
A 15-year-old is in a hospital's intensive care unit after being shot Saturday night in Robeson County, according to Maxton Police Chief Schirra Johnson.
The shooting occurred on North Brooklyn Street in the Maxton area. Chief Johnson believes the incident may have stemmed from a prior incident on Cottingham Street in Maxton.
Chief Johnson stated that they have several persons of interest, but none are in custody at this time. The investigation is active and ongoing, with assistance from the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (NCSBI).
