Trade Experts Call for Greater Readiness and Regional Co-operation

Caribbean economies, such as Guyana, must modernize and strengthen regional co-operation to remain competitive in the face of increasingly complex global trade rules and non-tariff barriers.

A seminar titled "Successfully Navigating the Current Global Trade Environment" was held by the World Trade Centre Georgetown (WTCG) as part of its inaugural Business Week activities. The session, moderated by Ambassador Neville Totaram, explored how small economies can thrive amid tightening international trade conditions.
