Guenther Steiner presents Lewis Hamilton theory about why he has no ‘confidence’ at Ferrari

Guenther Steiner's Theory on Lewis Hamilton's Lack of Confidence at Ferrari

Lewis Hamilton is facing a disappointing end to his first season with Ferrari, with Guenther Steiner presenting a theory on why he lacks confidence.

Hamilton's first season with the Scuderia has not gone as expected, with few predicting he would not achieve a Grand Prix podium. Unless there is a significant change in the next six races, he will become only the fifth driver since 1980 to complete a full F1 season with Ferrari without a podium finish.

Charles Leclerc has secured all five of Ferrari's podiums in 2025, while Hamilton's Sprint Race win in China was overshadowed by a double disqualification. Neither driver has had a car capable of winning races this year, with Leclerc's potential win at the Hungarian Grand Prix hindered by a drop in race pace after his final pit stop.

It's something Fred Vasseur has to fix ahead of next season.

Author's summary: Hamilton's first season with Ferrari may end without a podium.
