Green Tech International has commenced work on the largest geothermal-heated hydroponics greenhouse in Romania, as part of a broader 50-hectare greenhouse plan.

The project, being carried out by subsidiary Horti Green Invest S.A., will initially cover 10 hectares of greenhouses, with plans to expand to at least 50 hectares over the next 5 years.

The company will also invest in rehabilitating existing geothermal wells and modernizing a thermal power plant to supply heat to the greenhouses, increasing its presence in the sustainable agriculture sector.
