Radnor Valley Rescues Point with Late Equaliser
Radnor Valley secured a 2-2 draw against Lex XI in the Ardal League North East, thanks to a late equaliser from Joey Price.
The match began with a bright start from Radnor Valley, as Jack Clarke scored an early lead after being slipped through on goal by Lewis Morris. However, Lex XI equalised with a goal from Mthulisi Ndlovu, and Kieran Jones put them in front with a 25-yard effort.
In the second half, Sam Sainsbury and Joey Price tested the visiting keeper Joey Jones, but it seemed Lex XI were on course for their first win of the season. That was until Price scored a trademark free-kick on the 90-minute mark, giving Radnor Valley a point.
Meanwhile, Knighton Town moved up to second in the table after a 3-1 win over Mid Wales rivals Kerry at Bryn-y-Castell.
