The Williams Road Fire, spanning 321 acres, has been fully contained as of 6:53 p.m. on Friday, according to the Texas A&M Forest Service.
Earlier, the fire was reported to be 90% contained. Burnet County officials confirmed that all fire was contained within the established perimeter, with no evacuations, closures, injuries, or structural damage reported.
A 5-mile temporary flight restriction was put in place around the fire perimeter to ensure safe working conditions for aircraft crews. Helicopters were utilized to collect waste from Inks Lake and drop it on the fire, with officials noting that the fire never reached Inks Lake State Park.
No one has been injured, and no structures have been impacted.
