LIC Wellness Fest
Hundreds of people attended the inaugural LIC Wellness Fest on Saturday, Oct. 11, despite wet conditions.
The festival, hosted by Hurricane Fitness and Trends Dispensary, featured a "high-impact wellness block party" with fitness classes, wellness and nutrition workshops, and product demos.
A "great day" for the local community to enjoy fitness activations and learn about health and fitness-based businesses - Rodney Carter, co-founder of Hurricane Fitness and the LIC Wellness Fest.
The event was supported by sports, wellness, and active lifestyle businesses in Long Island City, allowing the community to sample various health and wellness products and services.
