Group Celebrates 50 Years of Support for Victims of Sexual Violence
Sexual Violence New Brunswick has supported thousands of victims since its establishment in 1975.

Sexual Violence New Brunswick is a community-based nonprofit agency.The organization provides various services, including:
- Low-barrier trauma-informed support to survivors of sexual violence
- A support line available from 5 PM to 8 AM daily for texting, chat, and phone calls
- Counselling, legal assistance, advocacy, and support groups
- Provincial education and leadership
Marks emphasizes the importance of specialized services for survivors of sexual violence, citing the need to dispel
myths and stereotypes around sexual violence and around who it happens to and what it looks like.
