Israeli Airstrikes in Lebanon
Despite a ceasefire, Israeli airstrikes killed 1 and injured 7 in Lebanon, according to Ya Libnan.
Lebanese President Aoun stated that Lebanon will increase the number of troops deployed south of the Litani River to 10,000 by the end of 2025.
The Israeli army launched 12 airstrikes in southern and eastern Lebanon, targeting areas such as Bnaafoul, Khirbet Dweir, and Roumine.
- Sidon: 2 Israeli attacks targeted the southern town of Bnaafoul
- Khirbet Dweir: 1 attack between the towns of Sarafand and Baysariyeh
- Nabatieh district: bombed an area between the towns of Roumine and Houmine
- Marjayoun district: an Israeli drone hit the town of Blida
Lebanon’s state news agency NNA reported the attacks, which also targeted the districts of Sidon, Marjayoun, Bint Jbeil, and Baalbek.
