Windows 11 Media Creation Tool Issue
The Windows 11 Media Creation Tool has stopped working on Windows 10 22H2 devices, closing after showing the Windows logo without any error.
Microsoft has acknowledged the issue and will fix it in a new update.
Alternative Upgrade Methods
In the meantime, you can still upgrade to Windows 11 using the Windows 11 ISO, which allows for an in-place upgrade on an existing Windows environment.
- Create a Windows 11 ISO to upgrade your current Windows 10 installation.
- Move the ISO to other Windows PCs to upgrade them, such as via a USB drive.
Although the ISO will only be able to upgrade an existing Windows environment, it shouldn’t be a problem for you since you are already on Windows 10.
