Tottenham Interested in Signing River Plate's Lautaro Rivero
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing River Plate defender Lautaro Rivero, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.
Since joining Tottenham, Micky Van de Ven has established himself as a starter, but has struggled with fitness problems over the last two seasons. During his absence, former manager Ange Postecoglou used Ben Davies and Archie Gray in the left centre-back position.
However, Ben Davies is a left-back by trait, and Archie Gray is a midfielder, leaving Spurs without a natural left-footed centre-back to support Micky Van de Ven.
Thomas Frank appears to be looking to resolve this issue next year.
