Suspected Stolen Mercedes Caught on Camera
Footage shows the moment a suspected stolen Mercedes careers along a footpath after attempting to swerve a police stinger during a pursuit.
Patrols had requested the driver stop in Sturry Road, Canterbury, but the driver continued, hitting three other cars before officers lost sight of him.
Footage taken from the scene shows police attempting to stop the speeding Mercedes using a stinger device along the A28 Island Road.
The vehicle can be seen attempting to swerve the trap but its offside rear tyre appears to be clipped.
The incident occurred just before 10am on October 11.
