A pre-pack deal with Boparan Private Office has secured 433 jobs at Roberts Bakery across two sites.
The investment, made for an undisclosed fee, sees the creation of a new company, Roberts Bakery 1887 Ltd, owned by entrepreneur Ranjit Singh Boparan.
The new company is a reference to the year the Cheshire-based business was founded.
The deal comes after Frank Roberts & Son Ltd filed a notice of intention to appoint administrators just over a week prior.
