The Dodgers and the Seattle Mariners have achieved something remarkable in postseason play, not seen in 55 years.
According to Sarah Langs, this feat was last accomplished in 1970, when the Cincinnati Reds and the Baltimore Orioles took the first two games of their respective League Championship Series.
Both of those League Championship Series ended in three-game sweeps, with the Orioles ultimately winning the World Series against the Reds in five games.
History repeats itself, but one hopes for a slightly different outcome this time.
Author's summary: Dodgers dominate LCS, repeating 1970 feat.
