Heavy flooding hit portions of Western Colorado, but now the rain is clearing.
According to KJCT, in the early morning hours, rain poured across Western Colorado, with widespread rain from Midnight until sunrise, accounting for the 60% chance of moisture in the forecast.
Drizzles are expected this morning, but will eventually fade by the end of the day. The remnants of the storms associated with Tropical Depression Raymond are dissipating.
Since Friday, the Grand Junction area has seen 2.29 IN of rain. Since the start of the month, the area has accounted for 2.33 IN of rain, breaking records with the average precipitation for October being 0.40 IN.
The National Weather Service has renewed a Flood Watch for Southwestern Colorado.
