President Dallin H. Oaks: A Life of Faith and Ministry
President Dallin H. Oaks has served in the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles for over 40 years. His life took a significant turn when he received a call to serve in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints while working at a Chicago law firm and raising a young family.

"I could not see how I could accept this calling and still keep up with my law practice," he said. "Yet I could not say no to a calling that I knew to be from the Lord. Gathering all my faith, I accepted the call.
