Goodwill Hosts Construction Training Program and Graduation
On Friday, the Goodwill Career Center in LaGrange hosted the graduation of 19 participants in the Construction Ready skilled-trade program.
The program trains people for well-paying, entry-level construction jobs, allowing them to build a future without the burden of student loan debt.
During the 20-day training program, students learned construction skills and earned seven certifications, including:
- industry-standard OSHA 10-hour training
- basic laser training
- power tool training
