DC's New Crossover Sets Itself Apart from Marvel's Civil War

DC Comics has embarked on a new era with the introduction of DC All-In #1 in 2024, bringing forth the Absolute line of titles and some of the best DC comics of the 21st century.

The latest development, DC K.O., features a tournament where heroes and villains from the prime Earth compete to gain the power to defeat Darkseid, who has dominion over the universe.

Although this storyline involves heroes fighting each other, with some villains and external characters joining in, it differs significantly from Marvel's Civil War, which has become synonymous with hero vs. hero comics over the last twenty years.

DC Comics is the best place they’ve been in years.

This new direction is a positive development, as evidenced by the excitement at NYCC, and DC K.O. is poised to offer a unique take on the crossover genre.
