Federal Agriculture Minister Visits Vankleek Hill Distillery
Grains and other agricultural products are the main ingredients in whisky and other liquors. Federal Minister of Agriculture Agri-Food, Heath MacDonald, visited Vankleek Hill on Friday, October 10 to tour Dunrobin Distilleries.
MacDonald toured the Dunrobin facility with Prescott-Russell-Cumberland Member of Parliament, Giovanna Mingarelli. The tour included a discussion about breaking down economic barriers to better help local products reach new markets across Canada and abroad.
