Jaron Ennis vs Uisma Lima - Results & Post-Fight Report
Jaron Ennis called for a showdown with Vergil Ortiz Jr after defeating Uisma Lima in the opening round in Philadelphia.
Ennis (35-0, 31 KOs) dropped Lima (14-2, 10 KOs) three times before referee Shawn Clark intervened with Ennis raining punches on his foe at the Xfinity Mobile Arena.
‘Boots’ was making his debut at super welterweight after relinquishing his IBF and WBA welterweight crowns following his victory over Eimantas Stanionis in April.
A three-punch combination which finished with a right hook put Lima onto the seat of his pants.
