Reweti Arapere: A Groundbreaking Achievement
Massey University Bachelor of Māori Visual Arts graduate Reweti Arapere has made history by having his artwork travel beyond Earth.
His design, etched onto the protective cover of a superconducting magnet system aboard the Hēki space technology demonstration, marks the first time Māori visual culture has been integrated into a space science mission.
