RTA Dubai Announces 6 New Projects to Improve Traffic Flow
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has unveiled six new infrastructure and traffic improvement projects to reduce congestion, improve road flow, and boost transport efficiency across Dubai.
These initiatives align with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, aiming to build a modern, sustainable transport system supporting the emirate’s long-term growth.
Recently, the RTA opened a new route linking the Al Kifaf Development to the Zabeel Tunnel, which included widening the tunnel’s internal section from one lane to two, doubling capacity and easing pressure on Sheikh Zayed Road and the 2nd of December Interchange.
The initiatives aim to improve access to nearby districts.
